Dont Buy MLM Leads...Thats Just Dumb!
If you own a MLM business you know that one of the most common questions asked is where to get more leads. People ask their sponsors all the time, where they can get more leads, and if they should buy them.
My answer: Don't Buy MLM Leads...That's Just Dumb!
Why shouldn't you buy mlm leads? There are actually several reasons. My biggest reason is quality. No matter where you buy mlm leads you can NOT verify if they are decent leads or not. Leads can be generated from several different sources, both offline and online, and there is no telling how targeted your leads will be.
Another reason I don't like to buy mlm leads is I want qualified people seeing my name and number. I don't want to be associated with spam at any time, and if I just went out and bought a million leads this could easily happen. I don't want to bother people who don't want my message. I am interested in a targeted group of people. I only want their information, if they want me to have it. This way I can make calls and talk to people who want more information about what I do, and what I can offer them.
Most leads come from optin forms that may give you the pertinent information to get ahold of the lead, but leave out information such as whether they are interested in running their own business, and whether they have money to invest in their business. As a business person myself, I do NOT have the time to waste on untargeted leads who don't want to hear what I have say.
Getting in front of many people usually means someone will want to hear your message, and I agree to this, but, in an mlm, business personalization is very important. Every lead will have a different need and in order to get that person signed up under you, you have to address this need for them.
Too little information is collected when bulk generating leads, and when I get my leads I like to know where I should begin with them. It is just impossible to have enough information to bring to the table when you buy leads and you are unsure of how they got generated. That being said, it is my honest opinion that anyone who wants to be successful in a MLM business model should NOT buy leads, but should generate them themselves.
